Took the puppies to do some more bird work yesterday! It’s so much fun playing with puppies. It always makes me smile to see a young dog expressing his natural instinct to point.Wild pigeons are the best, they can really fly and don’t let the dogs do a lot of crowding. If a dog gets too close to the pigeon he will just fly away and leave. Getting young dogs on birds really increases their drive to hunt and helps build there confidence. If you keep the training sessions short and sweet this will help increase the puppies desire for more bird work.
