A month ago we added on to the kennel here at the house. We decided to try some of the K-9 Kondo insulated dog houses that we have heard so much about. I can tell you that they don’t disappoint. This is by for the easiest dog house I have ever assembled. Not only is it easy to set up it’s also a great product. The dogs love them and they keep the dogs warm Even when the temps are in the teens. We have followed there suggestion to put a layer of grass hay in the bottom of the unit to keep the dogs warm. There studies have shown that the grass hay works better than, straw and wood chips. At first I was a little skeptical but decided to use the grass hay and have been very happy that I did. It keeps the dogs warm and dry with half the clean up that you would have with other types of insulation. Keep in mind that this unit is set up to make changing bedding easy. The top comes completely off and makes clean up a cinch. All in all I would highly recommend these units to any one. I have keep an eye on the temp here and we have had some temps as low as 10 degrees with the kondo keeping the dogs nice and warm.
