Giving back it such a huge part of our program. Each year we take our dogs and volunteer at our local pheasant youth hunts. TheseĀ hunts are put together to introduce young kids to bird hunting. We have all types of kids that come out either with there parents or adult responsible. We take the kids out and show them a good time. The local hunting stores and clubs with the help of the DWR sponsor this event. It is always well planned and coordinated with hundreds of kids and lots of dogs and handlers, we have a great time. The youth are the future of hunting itās so fun to see them come out and get involved some have never even hunted before. Some have never hunted with dogs. So we get to expose them to the great world of pointing dogs. The kids get lots of shooting and we get to teach them a lot of hunterās safety at the same time.
