Puppy Time!

Spring is knocking on the door step and Best Gun Dogs is starting to whelp our spring litters of German Shorthaired Puppies. We are excited about the puppies that are being born and the genetics they will be bringing to our kennel this year. We have a couple of different  litters that have been whelped this past week. It seems that they all come at once.  We are expecting to have puppies for all utility’s this year. Some will be great field trial prospects, some great foot hunting dogs, and all will make great companions. We will have several litters with solid liver puppies, white and liver, and liver roan. Zoey is such a great mom! Andy (dam owner) brought his children by last night to see the puppies they missed there dog Zoey and were so excited to see her with her new litter of puppies. Zoey is such a great dog she didn’t mind having the kids in the whelping area checking out what was going on. Just another sign that we have great bird dogs that love and respect there owners.
