Elhew English Pointer

By May 2, 2011 November 21st, 2011 Bird Dog Breeds

We have been training a nice 1 year-old female English Pointer for a client. She has taken to training very well. In just two short months she is steady to wing and shot, retrieves to hand, and is starting to honor nicely. This girl’s genetics come from some real nice Elhew breed dogs. Genetics prove to be a big help when you want a dog to perform to the best of it’s abilities. On this particular point she held for about 15 minutes, she made a big cast, and it took us a while to get to her. She then stood through two different bird flushes and posed for the camera. That’s a lot of action for a young dog to handle. She proved her training on this point!
